This pneumatic timer is an innovative timing device designed specifically for locations with explosive hazardous gases. It achieves dual timing control through the coordination of various pneumatic valves, enabling pneumatic actuators to complete timing functions in different states. Without the need for electric drive, it achieves timed power-off operation with high safety, making it very suitable for explosion-proof electrical equipment in explosive hazardous gas areas that require timing devices.
 
2、 Product composition and characteristics
 
1. Pressure regulating valve:
 
-The air inlet is connected to the external air supply pipe to regulate the gas pressure entering the pneumatic timer, ensuring stable operation of the entire system.
2. Two position five way dual control valve:
 
-Plays a critical switching role in the timing process, achieving timing control of different states of pneumatic actuators through coordination with other pneumatic valves.
3. Two position three-way set valve:
 
-Participate in the logic switching of timing control, connect different pneumatic valves and gas cylinders to ensure the accurate timing process.
4. First timing two position three-way pneumatic valve and second timing two position three-way pneumatic valve:
 
-Cooperate with the first timing gas cylinder and the second timing gas cylinder separately to achieve timing functions for different time periods.
5. Two five position pneumatic actuator valves:
 
-The A and B ports are connected to the pneumatic actuator, and the initial and working states of the pneumatic actuator are timed and controlled.
6. The first metering throttle valve and the second metering throttle valve:

4、 Working principle
 
The gas from the external gas source first enters the pressure regulating valve, which adjusts the gas pressure to the appropriate value and then delivers it to the P ports of the two position five way dual control valve, two position three-way set valve, first timing two position three-way pneumatic valve, second timing two position three-way pneumatic valve, and two position five pneumatic actuator.
 
When starting the timing, the P port and A port of the two position three-way set valve are connected, and gas enters the gas chamber of the first timing two position three-way pneumatic valve, connecting its A port to the lower gas chamber of the two position five way dual control valve. At this time, the P and B ports of the two five way dual control valves are connected, and the gas enters the first timing gas storage cylinder through the first timing throttle valve. At the same time, the gas also enters the upper chamber of the two five way pneumatic actuator valve to time the initial state of the pneumatic actuator.
 
When the pressure inside the first timing gas storage cylinder reaches a certain value, gas enters the gas chamber of the second timing two position three-way pneumatic valve, connecting its A port to the upper gas chamber of the two position five way dual control valve. At this time, the P and A ports of the two five way dual control valves are connected, and the gas enters the second timing gas storage cylinder through the second metering throttle valve. At the same time, the gas also enters the lower chamber of the two five way pneumatic actuator valve to time the working status of the pneumatic actuator.
 
When the pressure inside the second timing gas cylinder reaches a certain value, the P and B ports of the two position three-way set valve are connected, completing the entire timing process.
5、 Usage method
 
1. Pre operation inspection:
 
-Check if all components of the pneumatic timer are intact and if the connections are secure.
-Confirm whether the pressure of the external air source is stable and meets the working requirements of the pneumatic timer.
-Check if the initial state of the pneumatic actuator is correct.
2. Start timing:
 
-Open the valve of the external air source, and the pneumatic timer will automatically start timing.
-Observe the action of the pneumatic actuator to ensure that it switches states according to the predetermined timing.
3. Stop timing:
 
-When it is necessary to stop timing, close the valve of the external air source and the pneumatic timer will stop working.
-Check whether the final state of the pneumatic actuator meets the requirements.
